Where most neighborhoods were developed out of flat plains or cotton farms, Bluffview was developed from the dramatic topography of a dairy farm. In 1924 John P. Stevens developed this farm into one acre lots of Preston Hollow real estate along the creeks, streams and tributaries of Bachman Creek that laced the rolling terrain of the neighborhood he dedicated as Bluffview.
